The Davis-Cheney Art Gallery Art Classes have begun and our art
instructors and teachers are doing a great job. Our Art Instructors are very well educated in the
Arts and are well liked by the students.
Nate Snitzer, Art instructor, began his art in High School
in Arizona. His instructor helped inspire him to push for a career in the
arts. He attended ASU and looking to push further for a better education he
left ASU and found his way to Collins College, A technical 3D and
animation school, only to find he enjoyed and spent more time in drawing
classes. He moved to South Dakota and trained at Pantura Studios under
Hans-Peter Szameit and Sanna Tomac. He then again moved to Texas and began his oil
painting training under Jonathan Hardesty. Nate is a very accomplished artist. View his work at:

Randi Southard, Art instructor for Davis-Cheney Art Gallery in Queen Creek,
Arizona, attended the University of Houston. while living in the downtown warehouse art
district, she made art inspired by pattern, repetition, and xonsurmerism . She
paints to make visual relics of the relationships of feeling and form.
Randi has many of her murals in Queen Creek, Arizona. She has painted Greek
architecture and sculpture's
on Walls as well as Italian Scenes in Italian Restaurants. Her web sites are:

Rusty Parenteau, Substitute teacher, began her career in Art at Ashbury College, Wilmore, Kentucky. She
lived eleven years in Italy where she
taught art to Adults and Children.
Pencil is her favorite media. Rusty also works extensively with colored
pencil and silverpoint. She has
Illustrated magazine articles, pamphlets and greeting cards. She also
enjoys teaching and drawing portraits of families, children, pets, houses and
trees. Some creative drawing courses she has taken were at Kirkwood Community College,
Cedar Rapids, IA; Desert Sand Unified School District, Indio, Calif.; Apex
Community Center, Apex NC;
Kensington Art Center, Campbell Ca. She has also taught private students in
Genzano, Italy, Ohio, Wisconsin, California, North Carolina, Iowa and

Watanabe Jones, Japanese Calligraphy Instructor, was born in Japan and learned how to do Japanese Calligraphy at the
age of 5 years old. She taught lessons in Japan for three years and is now
living in Arizona and continues pursing her Japanese Calligraphy by
teaching art clases for the
Davis-Cheney Art Gallery in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Lynne Loss, Art Instructor, grew up North of Santa Fe New Mexico near Toas where culture thrives.
She started learning about Art and Culture at the age of seven years old
and continued her whole life taking art classes where ever she could take
them. She moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado with her parents at the age of
fourteen and attended Colorado Springs High School as her Father was ask to
go to work there to help the building of the United States Air Force
Academy. She had to move back to New Mexico with
her parents at the age of seventeen and then met a handsome United States
Air Force Cadet and married. While he was pursuing his career,
she found he was gone so much that she had some time on her hands so
continued taking lessons from other Officers wives that were teaching art.
